I am humble and honored to be the in-charge Principal of MBS. The kindness and support from the management, staff, committee members and students, I have met an over whelming experience. This truly is a community committed to the success of its students and I look forward to work with each of you for the excellence of the school.

The history of Mahabodhi School in Mysuru’s horizon started under the guidance of Ven. Acharya Buddharakkhita Bhanteji, who had a keen concern for education and society. The School has emerged as a star in Mysore galaxy by leaps and bounds.

Mahabodhi School is affiliated to CBSE New Delhi and has classes from pre- Kg to X standard, with all modern amenities along with the NCERT curriculum. We are giving more emphasis on value based education and meditation.

Year by year Mahabodhi School is providing the modern amenities, qualified and good teachers for the best education. We have well furnished classrooms, laboratories, library, digital classrooms, computer laboratory, auditorium, indoor-outdoor play stations, and separate play area for nursery classes. Emphasis is also laid on the development of children in all spheres of curricular, Co-curricular and sports activities.

We provide the best education and follow the path of success. Our Students have indulged themselves actively in teaching and learning process. Reflective to this, from the past five years we have secured 100% results in 10th std CBSE board. All the students have surpassed the exams by scoring good marks. We take utmost care to educate all the children through holistic education to bring out best outputs and promise to make them good citizens of our society.

MBS try to inculcate good moral values and teachings of Buddha in our students. We follow the path of Buddha’s teachings for our development. Our students have done an outstanding achievement by winning football matches and brought laurels to the school. Our school football team has also outshone other schools at the inter school football competition. None of these achievements would have been possible without the single –minded commitment and dedicated care of our staff. We are also constantly encouraged by our parents and management who have shown much confidence and given their support. Team work is the progress and hallmark of MBS. I am sure; through collaborative effort we can achieve more to benefit our students who are the future citizens and leaders of tomorrow.

Education is not just a process of giving knowledge for a future job but a lifelong process which creates an understanding of moral and ethical values to guide one’s life and make our students the future hope of the country and we ensure that we are all on the way to reach this goal.
